The cost of a normal quality check water analysis (15-20 parameters), conducted by Reid-line Scientific Services, in Cape Town, is R 1,250.00 Incl. VAT.

However if any other additional analytical work is required then extra costs may be applicable.

1 – Normal quality check data set for potable applications (Data sets varies slightly dependent on types of water source)

2 – Comparative data set, e.g. Before and after filtration (2 x normal samples compared with one another)

3 – Reverse Osmosis data set (RO problematic parameters + SS characterization)

4 – Bottles water Quality control data set (a number of additional critical parameters)

5 – Comparative data set – Bottling application (2 x normal samples compared with one another)

6 – Corrosion rates determination – 14, 21 or 28 days (via the appropriate selected corrosion coupon)

7 – Toxicity checks – via Daphnia Pulex (1 litre required for test – sample cannot be used for other work)
– R 1,300.00 Incl. VAT

8 – Toxicity checks – via Trout Hatchlings or Fingerlings (5 litres required for test – 6 weeks)

The water analysis is done by an independent laboratory, Reidline Scientific Services in Cape Town. The water is analyzed according to the intended use (home use, bottled water production, food processing, fruit juice packaging etc) and a detailed report with recommendations for treatment is produced. Water Analysis

To get started, you need to order and pay for the water analysis by clicking the buy now button above. When the payment has been processed you will immediately recieve via email a link to download the detailed instructions for taking the water sample.

The average lead-time to receive the results of a water analysis is roughly 1 month or 20 working days (depending on seasonal demands) from the date that we receive your water sample.

On completion of the water analysis you will receive via fax or email a detailed report and discussion on the state of your water as compared to the World Health Organization standards for potable drinking water.

Once you receive your water analysis you will be contacted by an H2O International SA water specialist, who will discuss the finding of the analysis with you, and guide you through the various options and systems for treating your particular water.
