Introducing Molefe Petros
Molefe is a seasoned strategist, innovator and a banker who has been involved in the transformation of businesses through robust innovative strategies to be agile, lean and more efficient. He has far-reaching 11 years post qualification experience and a long-term commitment to professionalism and ethics. He has mentored and developed information technology gigs and gurus as well as students not only in the companies he has worked for but also outside those companies.
Molefe holds a Master’s degree, MSc Strategic Management – University of Derby (UK), Degree in Information Technology/ Communication Design – Queensland University of technology: QUT (Brisbane, Australia) – Managers Development Programme- Stellenbosch University (SA): He also has number professional certifications: ITIL, MCP, MCSA, MCSE, (Certified Microsoft Engineer).
He currently serves as Head of Innovation for Bayport Financial Services Botswana which is one of largest micro lenders, with lending and financial services interests across Africa and Latin America.
He has previously held different positions as IT Manager (Windows Platform – Distributed Engineering) Barclays Bank, IT Applications Analyst – Barclays Bank Botswana, IT Systems Analyst and Informatics Specialist – National AIDS Coordinating Agency (NACA), Lead Systems Developer – Data Generale (Australia)Telecommunication consultant – Telefocus Queensland, Optus Cable and Wireless Australia
Molefe has solid experience in banking platforms, telecommunication technologies, service level management, IT governance and customer relationship management. Bridging the gap between business needs, business strategy and technology solutions, End to end software/business system implementation, roll out, training, project management and support.
He is an entrepreneur with a number of start-up businesses focusing on solving people’s challenges using technology as a low cost model to deliver services that impact their lives. These are the guiding principles that have attracted him to the H20 brand that exist to impact people’s lives particularly health with innovative water purifications systems that are affordable.
He is a father and husband married to a beautiful wife and they have been blessed with handsome and energetic boy Petros Jr.
Introducing Sophie Petros
Sophie is an experienced educator with over 13 years’ experience in the education sector. Eight of which was spend as Home Economics teacher in various senior secondary schools in Botswana. She is currently working for Tonota College of Education as Senior Lecturer in Fashion & textiles and Food & Nutrition.
Sophie has a Master’s degree (Fashion and Textiles) attained from RMIT University (Melbourne, Australia) in 2014. She also graduated from University of Botswana in 2002, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Home Economics.
She has a wealth of knowledge in sustainable product design and development to understand implications of materials and processes used within the fashion and textiles industry, as well as exploring a range of sustainability principles that address lifecycle assessment, including eco-footprint analysis, embedded energy and environmental impact and undertake the assessment of various design products.
She is also experienced across a broad range of Merchandising Management, Fashion and Textile Product management.
Her research papers include:
- Perri Kids departmental store, planning for its winter/fall 2015
- Global business issues research-In order to demonstrate a better understanding of the global issues affecting business strategies and decision making in the Textiles, Clothing, Footwear and Leather industries (TCF&L) and also developed an export marketing strategy
- Case study- Botswana basket industry- exploring the textile and craft industry of Botswana.
- Trends and forecasting- Being ‘a lifestyle detective’ by creating a fashion journal.
She a mother, a wife to a loving husband and they are blessed with a handsome boy, Petros Jr. She is a God fearing person and very health conscious. Her philosophy is to make a difference in people’s life and the H2O business resonates with this philosophy.
Introducing Neo Modise
Neo holds a bachelor’s degree in Home Economics attained in 2000 at the University of Botswana. She has 11 years of experience as a Home Economics teacher of which more than eight was at a senior secondary school level.
She is married to a wonderful husband and they have two beautiful kids, a boy and a girl. Being a teacher made her a natural mother having worked with kids of different ages from different backgrounds.
Neo decided to retire early to fully focus on raising their kids. She has been a stay home mum for four years before she decided to venture in to the water business towards the end of 2015.
She is passionate about cooking and loves healthy and clean eating and being able to provide people with purified water just adds to her passion.
She is a dedicated Christian, and her philosophy in life is based upon the word of God. She loves traveling and gardening.
