This media bed is a 7-stage purification system:

5-Micron filter pad

– Here we have the initial sediment removal. This filter pad blocks organic and inorganic suspended solids, like sand and bio-debris.

KDF®

– KDF® removes iron, aluminium and heavy metals like lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury.

5-Micron filter pad

– Here we have the second sediment removal. This filter pad blocks rust, clay, algae, etc.

Granular Activated Carbon (GAC)

– GAC effectively removes chlorine, highly carcinogenic by-products, pharmaceutical waste, pesticides and hundreds of other chemical and organic contaminants.

Riolyte®

– Riolyte® contains beneficial minerals that make the water slightly more alkaline.

Silver impregnated GAC

– This GAC’s anti-bacterial silver protects against biological activity from backward contamination.

5-Micron filter pad

– Here we have the final sediment removal. This filter blocks silt, sediment, etc.
