Dive into the remote wilderness of the Northern Cape’s Richtersveld and explore the mighty
Orange River bordering South Africa and Namibia.
Paddle by day, camp on the river banks by night and fall asleep beneath the stars. Nothing
but friends, fireside and the flow of the river. 2 nights at base camp and 3 nights on the river.
Trip covers between 30-35km depending on water level with a few rapids.
Entries close 30 November 2020.
- This competition runs between 1 September and 30 November 2020.
- Winner will be announced on 1 December 2020. This prize cannot be exchanged for cash.
- The prize with Orange River Rafters is valid for booking in 2021 only except during the peak months of September and December.

Transfers to and from Base camp in the Northern are for the winner’s own account. Base Camp accommodation is camping – the winner must bring their own camping equipment for two nights at base camp.
