Description

You get all the advantages of perfect quality water with Ecosoft MO12000 commercial reverse osmosis system. It is the most advanced and effective way to remove up to 99.8% of impurities, including bacteria and viruses. Reverse osmosis is an eco-friendly and economic way to get safe drinking water.

The system is a compact and entirely functionally complete module.

ОС5000 controller for constant independent operation of the system

The OC5000 controller is designed for automatic or manual control of reverse osmosis unit and provides:

Controller ОС 5000 — best possibilities for professional maintenance:

  • automatic switching on and off of the equipment upon signal;
  • emergency shutdown of the equipment by signals from dry-running sensors, overpressure in the module;
  • shutdown of equipment on the external STOP signal;
  • hydraulic flushing of membranes;
  • permanent quality control (electrical conductivity and temperature) of permeate.

Maintenance

For correct and effective system operation it is necessary to do the following:

A history of system maintenance and operation in the personal online directory will allow the most efficient and timely replacement of filters, chemical washing of membranes and other system maintenance activities.

Replace the
sediment filters

at least once every 3 months.
The sediment filter protects the RO membrane from large impurities such as sand, clay particles, etc.

Carry out chemical cleaning of the RO membrane

At least twice a year.
CIP should be carried out in case of deteriorating purified water quality or capacity reduction, which you can observe in the personal online directory. CIP is carried out by using a chemical cleaning unit and cleaning chemicals.

Keep a register of maintenance, system operational parameters and water quality.

A history of maintenance and operation of the system will allow the most efficient and timely change replacement filters, chemical washing of membranes and other system maintenance activities.

You don’t need to keep a system maintenance log anymore!

Timely maintenance expands the lifetime of the equipment, but also provides pure and safe water of the highest quality.

Performance

Performance

Inside the membrane module of the installation, water is divided into two streams:

— demineralized water — permeate

— high saltwater — concentrate

Part of the concentrate during the operation of the module is discharged into the sewer system, and the rest is sent to the inlet of the high-pressure pump, providing the so-called recycling of the concentrate.

An antiscalant can be dosed into the feed water stream, which prevents the formation of deposits inside the membrane elements.

Before reverse osmosis, the water undergoes preliminary cleaning on a fine filter cartridge, preventing ingress of impurities larger than 5 microns on the membrane.

The system is operated by the controller and provides:

— automatic switching on and off of the equipment upon the signal from the level sensor in the permeate collector or pressure in the permeate line with preliminary hydraulic flushing;

— emergency shutdown of the equipment by signals from dry-running sensors, overpressure in the module;

— shutdown of equipment on the external STOP signal;

— hydraulic flushing of membranes;

— permanent quality control (electrical conductivity and temperature) of permeate.

Maintenance

Maintenance

Pre-filters

Sediment filters protect the membrane from large impurities such as sand, clay particles, etc. Failure to replace the filters in due time can damage or destroy the membrane. In order to avoid such critical situations, we recommend changing the filter at least once every 3 months..

Clean-in-place

In case of worsening quality of the treated water or a decrease in productivity, it is necessary to conduct chemical cleaning of the RO membrane with a CIP-station and special reagents. To obtain purified water of high quality, we recommend chemical cleaning at least twice a year.

Long downtime

If you do not plan to use the system for a long time, it is necessary to shut off the water supply to the system, and soak the membrane elements in a special preservative solution – this will keep the membranes working when the equipment is not in use.

Operating log

It is recommended to keep maintenance register for the reverse osmosis system and a log book of the system performance and water quality. The data will help to remember to replace the filters, chemical cleaning of membranes and other maintenance operations connected to the system service.
