The standard 4″ ceramic filter candle with internal granular activated carbon for the Stefani and Bajaj Gravity Filters.
N.B. Due to this ceramic candle not being impregnated with silver, this filter cartridge should ONLY be used with municipal TAP WATER that is BACTERIA FREE.
This candle removes fine sediment, low bacteria levels, chlorine and other harmful chemicals, and improves taste, colour and odour.
Requires regular cleaning with scourer or sandpaper when discoloured or water flow drops.
Note: Ceramic filters should be soaked in water for 24 hours and then cleaned before first use to ensure optimal performance.
