Description
The water is purified by using a Stefani 4” ceramic filter candle containing silver impregnated granular activated carbon, for removing suspended particles, protecting against bacteria, as well as reducing chlorine and other harmful chemicals commonly found in water. The terracotta also creates a natural evaporating and cooling effect which keeps the water cool and fresh.
Filtration Method
- Equipped with the Sterilizing Ceramic (Triple Action) Cartridge with microporous ceramic filtering wall, retaining solid particles and impurities, activated carbon, that reduces chlorine, tastes and odors present in water and colloidal silver, eliminating bacteria.
- All this with no chemical additives!
- Allied to the float valve system, which doubles the filter capacity and avoids leakage.

This is a great product…something I’m quite excited about. I’ve tried other filters and usually got frustrated with the constant refilling, fridge storage and cost of filter replacement. This however, trumps others on pure practicality. It’s large enough to be useful, keeps water amazingly cool and the filtration system and cost thereof is great.

I took my Stefani water filter camping. I definitely recommend this product.
I was collecting water from the river and purifying it with the water filter – it produced crystal-clear water. And, despite the fact that I was drinking from the river, neither I nor my family became ill while camping.
I could see a lot of pollutants still in the top tank, sand, silt and god knows what else.
Additionally, it kept the water somewhat chilly and looked very stylish on our camping table (camping exterior decorating!)
The only downside was that the water took a long time to filter through the top filter and into the bottom tank. I suppose you have to accept that because the filter pores are tiny and that is what stops the pollutants getting through. Next time, I’ll set up the water filter as soon as we arrive at the campsite, because if you leave it overnight, you’ll have 6 L of filtered water in the morning. Having said that, just topping up the top tank while drawing water from the bottom tank ensured that we never ran out of purified water. Great product! It’s great to be able to drink water without needing to buy a large quantity from a shop before going camping.
